As we embark on the journey of hosting the Super Thrain Cup, we carry with us the memory of our dear friend and Co-Owner, Daniel (Thrain) Drennen, who left an indelible mark on our AO Esports and the Clash gaming community. 

Daniel's passion for gaming, particularly his prowess as a keen Clash of Clans player and base builder, resonated deeply with all who knew him. His strategic mind and dedication to perfecting his craft served as an inspiration to gamers worldwide. 

His sudden departure on the 31st of May 2023 left a void that can never be filled. In his honour, we dedicate this tournament to Daniel, celebrating not only his love for gaming but also his spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship. As we come together to compete, collaborate, and forge new friendships, we do so with Daniel's memory shining brightly, reminding us of the joy and unity that gaming brings. 

Though he may no longer be with us in person, his legacy lives on in every match played and every connection made within the AO Esports community. Daniel, you will forever remain in our hearts, and the Super Thrain Cup will stand as a testament to your enduring influence and friendship.
